People are having different opinions for retired shipping skids or pallets but we just want to say one thing that they are damn good for recycling and DIY furniture building! We would like to share here this DIY pallet coffee table which one of our closes friends recently made and the design is really eye-catching and functional as well! Let’s talk about the construction and stability of the table! Design is purely handcrafted and the only wood has been used that came from dismantling of pallets!
Wooden slats are visible that form the entire tabletop and same are the sturdy legs of the pallet table! 4 sturdy looking separated apart pallet pieces have been utilized and cut down to needed sizes for tabletop construction and has been fixed in place using nails! Finally the additional wooden boundary has been added and hence the table design has been trimmed down for visually attractiveness! More dignified tone of wood has been created using some clear stain coats!

To do this table construction, you need lot of separate wooden slats and hence dismantling or deconstruction of pallets is sure to be a part of this table project! Put together the slats and build a rough frame first then keep on installing the pallet slats in simple slatted arrangements until you get a full solid shape of table!

By placing extra boundary all around the table the final charming and defined look of the table has been created! The border has been painted in black just to be a little more distinctive!

After applying the final clear or stain coats the table has been put inside of a cozier living room interior just in front of the sofa and looks eye-catching there in its refined wooden appearance!

Choosing the length of the legs, you can decide the overall height of the table just to find the table convenient to approach while sitting around it on sofa or chairs! A little faux flower vase over its top would be enough to turn into a captivating living room centerpiece!
